"And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God], hope [expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others], but the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13
"If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith." 1 Corinthians 15: 13-14
Let's truly dedicate this Easter to hope.
EVERY DAY (well almost every day) I listen to a podcast by Mary DeMuth on which she reads from the Bible then prays for us listeners according to what that passage inspires in her. I believe it was yesterday when she prayed for people whose unanswered prayers have left them disappointed with God, and I wished she would pray for us who have no problem with God but are gravely disappointed with the church.
I would love to attend church tomorrow, to hear the music and a stirring message about the Resurrection. I would love to take communion amongst a gang of honest Christ followers. But I don't know where to go.
If I go somewhere, I will report on that experience next week. If I don't, I will try to articulate why. But since this is all quite personal, I don't care to make it available to just anybody, but only to those I hope will try to understand rather than criticize, argue, or cancel. So this part of next week's message will only be available to paid subscribers, whom I will consider special friends.

I’m convinced.
Happy forever
